Grown up in the colorful world of hippie communes in Europe, India and America, I picked a guitar at the age of 18, started writing songs and traveled the world until I finally ended up in Cologne. Here I taught myself sound and video technology supported by amazing mentors of the musical universe.
Today I am not only musician (vocals, guitar and programming), songwriter and mother but also sound engineer in my own studio, where I produce audio and video content for the local radio and tv stations and above all for other artists and myself.
Aufgewachsen in einer bunten Welt von Hippie-Kommunen in Europa, Indien und Amerika schnappte ich mir mit 18 Jahren eine Gitarre, begann Songs zu schreiben und bereiste die Welt, bis ich schließlich in Koeln landete. Hier lernte ich autodidaktisch und mit tollen Mentoren Ton- und Bildtechnik.
Heute bin ich nicht nur Musikerin (Gesang, Gitarre und Programming) und Mutter, sondern auch Tonmeisterin im eigenen Studio, wo ich u.a. fuer WDR, ZDF, aber vor allem auch für andere KuenstlerInnen und mich selbst Audio und Videos produziere.

‘Chase The Moment’ encourages listeners to embrace the rhythm and participate in life’s impromptu dance. It’s a metaphor for living fully in the present, appreciating the current moment and its possibilities. Drawing inspiration from early 90s’ Goa/Techno parties, the song communicates a sense of unity and shared enjoyment of sound and rhythm.
Sitara discusses her inspiration from the repeating pattern of dance and life. Despite challenges in her art, the concept of a ring parabola provided comfort, symbolizing continual opportunities to realize dreams.
